As an example, a resident went away on a skiing holiday but left behind a piece of luggage that contained her ski apparel and boots. We found the bag in her closet, went to Fed Ex and sent the bag to her via overnight. She wrote: “Oh my gosh you are amazing! I cannot thank you enough.”

Creating Community at Harvest at Damonte Ranch
Harvest at Damonte Ranch hosts many events to bring the community together. Here are just a few of the most recent events held at the community:
September Luau. In September, Harvest hosted a Luau. Residents state they’ve never lived anywhere that had such an event and they were very impressed with the Hula dancers and the authentic Hawaiian food.
Halloween. Residents participated in this event with elaborate costumes and expressed great pleasure in the costume and Halloween decorating contest. Many of the residents went “all out” and decorated their balconies to get more into the holiday spirit.
Thanksgiving. Just before Thanksgiving, Harvest brought in a chef to give a demonstration on cooking traditional Thanksgiving side dishes with a healthy twist.
December Open House For the upcoming event, Harvest will have an open house complete with a festive menu and a surprise visit from Santa. A class will be held on gift wrapping and all the crafting supplies will be provided!
